The best application I can have

Love the new App. The update almost perfected the app. The viper system is a must have especially in the winter. I have them on my car and on my semi tractor.

I had the app and the system for about 3 yrs now, when best buy installed it, for the most part never had any issues, rock solid till I got the iPhone 7 plus. And it stop working... I reached out to Best Buy and SmartStart and no response yet.. so be warned if u were planning on getting the new iPhone soon wait till the fix the app first.

This is a life saver here where its cold. Works great most days.

Needs more features and options, other wise the update is pretty good.

This app has me feeling like my truck is safe because its always letting me know if somethings up. Ive had it for two weeks and couldnt be happier .

I personally think this app is great bot to mention that I can check if the car is Lock, doors close, engine off or running but I can actually locate the car in the maps

I like having the smart start success time stamp stay on the home screen, makes it much easier to know if it worked. Like the dashboard and its much easier to use this year.

The update has been long awaited. Great new and modern UI. Glad they changed the way to start the car because I would sometimes start it accidentally. Thanks guys!

This app gets better with each update. No problems running latest version on my new phone. Cant wait to see the next release!

This is by far the best alarm system ever. I have it on two cars. Its great that its reachable from anywhere and the great option to be able to get into a warm or cool interior. Keep up the great work!!!

This has been the best alarm system Ive had. I travel quit a lot so when it sits in the parking garage if an airport for about two weeks I start remote it this way my battery wont die. My co-worker lock the car with the keys inside so I used the phone app to unlock it. It also has lots of other great feature that I use. Well worth the money.

I like the app, but at times it glitches and wont open. When I try to pull it up, it automatically closes down and I have to keep opening while it keeps closing. So I end up having to uninstall the app and then install it again to function correctly.

Works great, whether in Kansas or in Virginia winters, I can come down to a warm vehicle with most of my windows defrosted. Its functioned better and better over time. At first it was kind of sketchy, but it has gotten a lot better since .

Every since the update I have to constantly login to get the app to work. This is in addition to the app running very very slow and inconsistent. And as far the Apple Watch App is concerned why offer it at all. It shares all of the worst attributes of the phone app except it works about half as often. Please fix this app,which I paid a premium subscription for.

Now all I get is error code 12. Also theres nothing that tells me if the car successfully started. For instance it processes and the check disappears...but the car didnt start! If I tap on it before it processes the command it gives me error 12. This is unacceptable! Just paid a LOT of money for this!! Thinking of returning the whole thing and going with a different brand if the app isnt fixed. Sounds like the old one was better and the screwed it all up.

I have no apps in memory on my iPhone 6 Plus when I try to locate the car on the map. 75-85% of the time the map will not render. If the car is parked in a lot, then the words beneath will simply list the town. I purchased this for the GPS, not the remote starting so its particularly annoying. The old app always drew the map..

I have had nothing but trouble with this product since getting my new phone. It always logs me out and only starts the car about 10% of the time NOT WORTH THE PRICE!!! Very frustrating on these cold MN days!

App crashes frequently. Usually takes 2-3 tries to start my vehicle without app crashing. I have had the SmartStart in my vehicle for 3 years and I did not have this problem with the old app. Are there some improvements coming soon? Please? I want the dependability back.
