The app works great and let lock and unlock from anywhere as well as start my beautiful Nissan Juke!!

Just wanted to update, you guys have improved the app. My car ONLY has a bypass and the app DOES confirm success. THANKYOU! Great app, definitely a recommend. Huge Range and functional. Just wish it was as responsive as a fob remote.

I have had the Viper Smart Start for years. First had it on my Blackberry, which was a nightmare to get it loaded, but eventually got it working. Now I have it on my iPhone and iPad, and just love it.

Love my smart start. Works fine. I mainly use it in the winter to warm up the car but I love when Im at work and need to just run to the car and use the app to lock and unlock the car easy.

I live(ed) in Fairbanks, Alaska and have had my SmartStart for about 5 years. I love it! Now that Im living in the lower 48 I have even less problems with the cellular pinging cycles than I did in Alaska where there is far less connectivity. It is not an instant reaction service so you still need your fob for immediate action, but it works just great in almost every other aspect. Love it!

I loved this app until the new update came out now every time I try to open it crashes. Please come out with new update that works

Ive used this app for over a year with the GPS module installed. I travel a lot and wanted to monitor the condition of my vehicle at the airport. I can successfully confirm the location of my vehicle and monitor any alarms, as well as determine if the vehicle has been moved tipped or hit, as well as monitoring for glass breaks. I have also successfully unlocked the vehicle from over 2000 miles away to allow a relative access, then re-locked it. Doesnt get any better than that. No problems at all. Obviously the quality of the install will make a difference.

Every time I try to look at the health of the car, it kicks me out of the app.

Satisfied customer!!! Nothing like being away for a month out of the country and having a wifi signal and starting my vehicles to make sure my batteries arent died from alarm being on.

Does not crash often but overall you get what youre expecting functionally.

I like the idea of this app and how it is. I would love to see the alerts be more real time, sometimes I get notifications from the day before. Still a good app.

I use this app to remotely start my vehicle when Im on my back to the warehouse and its blazing hot or freezing cold outside. I can also use the GPS to find my vehicle when Im at the mall, stadium, or amusement park.

Here are the many features you will come across in this app. (Typed here: 7/4/2016). Depending on what Viper package you had installed, you can access location of vehicle on a map, start/stop ignition, lock/unlock, panic alarm, trunk, live update of vehicle status of all above mentioned features including valet mode/engine bonnet position, smartfence A/B technology, speed monitor, and finally, lockdown/low battery/panic alarm text messaging to your phone/app alerts. Must have your service provider coverage in the area of the vehicle and your current location as well. You may be halfway across the world and still access all of this. All of this would be so awesome - IF it worked!! And it does work, most of the time. For a "GPS premium 3 year plan" @ $211.99, they have got to do MUCH better. Make it work all the time! - You have to stare at your screen until you see a check mark to see if your last command was received. Missed it? You might have to try again or refresh status (another few seconds of your time). - The system logs you out when it feels like it. (Even with out an update. Even without you ever manually logging out.) - The map does not always update itself. EVEN WITH 5 BAR COVERAGE in both the vehicles and owners respective locations. (Now you cant perform ANY of the above listed "features"). - Unlike remote control key, you can not restart the remote start (12 min) countdown time. The conditions in which I work make the advertised features a luxury. I wont be able to access the vehicle with my "1 mi range" remote and hence paid for this app/service. These are all very "3rd world" problems. Its not that big of a deal. I understand. However the principle is; your hard earned money should return quality and whatever is promised by a vendor should be delivered 100% a 100% of the time. 3 stars left because it saved me from wiping down my vehicle in the snow season when all my coworkers were still staying behind cleaning theirs off.
